Restoring and enhancing nature at Newbarn Farm
Enhancing and protecting a diverse ecosystem
Biodiversity loss is one of the greatest challenges we face. At Newbarn, we believe farming can be part of the solution – not the problem.
Dedicated to nurturing the land in an organic manner, we prioritise soil health and biodiversity through regenerative farming practices. By cultivating a diverse ecosystem of native plants, beneficial insects, pollinators and wildlife, we create a resilient environment that sustains both our habitat and ensures a vibrant landscape for future generations.
What we’ve done…and will continue to do
Over Autumn 2025 we worked with The Chiltern Rangers on an official Biodiversity Net Gain project that's transforming our farm into an even richer habitat for wildlife.
We're restoring hedgerows, planting wildflower meadows and creating mixed native scrub to boost biodiversity across our 16 acres. This work enhances wildlife corridors, improves soil health and supports countless species of insects, birds and pollinators.
Every hedgerow planted and wildflower sown strengthens our connection to the landscape we're part of – and helps secure a thriving ecosystem for future generations.
Our BNG project proves that agriculture and nature can thrive together, creating resilient landscapes that sustain both people and wildlife.
This is our commitment to the land, to our community, and to the future.
